Sign Up for a LabXchange Account

To get started, you’ll need a free LabXchange account. Signing up is quick and easy!

Why create an account?

Creating a LabXchange account unlocks additional functionality that supports you as an educator. With an account, you can:

  • Save your favorite resources and build a personalized library on your Dashboard.

  • Create and customize resources, like pathways, to fit your lessons.

  • Create private classes, share resources with your students, and track their progress.

  • Connect with the LabXchange community through discussion forums.

Below is a short, step-by-step video that shows you how to sign up for an account.

How to sign up:

1. Go to Sign up.

2. Choose Continue with Email, then enter your details.

3. Enter your details into the form then click Sign up.

4. Check your inbox for an activation email and use the provided link to activate your account. If the email has not been sent automatically you can request that another copy be sent after 60 seconds.

5. Select a role as a learner or educator. Those under 18 will be automatically assigned learner status, skipping this step. The main difference between the roles is the option for educators to create classes via their dashboard.

6. Log in and select your role as a learner or an educator. (Anyone under 18 will be automatically assigned learner status, skipping this step.) The main difference between the roles is that educators can create classes via their dashboard. Select educator as your role and continue.
